Kid’s Book Review: Cold Blood

Kid’s Book Review: Cold Blood

About the Book and Author

The world is still adjusting to life after the Rippocalypse – and there are plenty who aren’t happy with the new status quo. Made public enemy number one, Sel needs to keep a low profile, and make sure his new dangerous abilities stay hidden. But there’s an even bigger threat on the horizon, as Frozen Fever is spreading. And it can be passed on with just a touch…

S. J. Wills grew up in Chelmsford, Essex, where her parents let her choose any books she wanted from the library, no matter what. She has worked as a freelance copy-editor since 2003, alongside rediscovering her childhood love: writing her own stories.  Bite Risk was her first book for teens.

Book Review

I really liked this story, it is sometimes sad and even a bit stressful but mainly thrilling!

First of all I just want to say I really liked this story, it is sometimes sad and even a bit stressful but mainly thrilling!

My favourite character is Sel because  he is different and he gets hate for that, but he doesn’t let it bother him. He is strong minded and determined and he will do anything to help the people he loves.

The story reminded me of Stranger Things which is my favourite series, so if you are a fan I think you will like this too.

I think it was good as a book on its own but I would recommend reading the other books first (I am definitely going to read the others).

I would recommend this to people who like horror, a little bit of comedy and lots of gore!
