Book Review

It is rare to see books focused only on black and brown babies. We really enjoyed this uplifting book.

Mum’s thoughts – A delightful book celebrating brown babies. There are many lovely positive rhymes to engage your little one and create a close bond, we especially liked ‘Peek a you’ and ‘Baby boy, you are a star’. The book also includes quotes by well-known people of colour, this particular quote stands out ‘Choose people who lift you up’ Michelle Obama. It is rare to see books focused only on black and brown babies. We really enjoyed this uplifting book.

Theo’s opinion – I love games like ‘Peek a you’ and play this lots. The colourful pictures of brown babies made me laugh and smile.
