Kid’s Book Review: Deep

Kid’s Book Review: Deep

About the Book, Author and Illustrator

When a tiny whale calf is born, his mother raises him to the surface to take his first breath. She guides him as he grows, until he is strong enough to swim at her side, and they set off together on a great journey across the oceans.

One day, the time will come for the grown calf to set out on his own . . . but wherever he goes and whatever he does, his mother will be waiting for him and sending her song of love across the oceans.

Book Review

My favourite part was the last page because it reminds me of my mummy and how much she loves me

This was a really good book!

I really liked the pictures, they were all very blue but sometimes there were bright colours and that looks really nice and remind me of the rainbow!

Its a super story because, there was a mummy and a child and the child grew bigger and bigger and then swam away by itself, but it wasn’t sad because the child grew up, everyone has to grow up.

My favourite part was the last page because it reminds me of my mummy and how much she loves me.

I would recommend this book to all children because it is a sweet story about growing up and has beautiful pictures to look at.
