About the Book and Author
Rhyming text, bright and bold illustrations and a fun story about dogs who love to dress-up in disguises – we have no doubt toddlers will love this story by Peter Bently and John Bond. Theo, our young reviewer certainly does.
Publishers Harper Collins describe this picture book as, ‘a joyful peek into the crazy antics of all sorts of dogs in disguise! Dressing up in clothing they find at home, these adventurous pooches blend into the crowd at all the places dogs aren’t allowed, like the store, the cinema and the swimming pool! But, not all of their disguises go quite to plan, with hilarious results . . .’
Charlene, the shih-tzu doing jujitsu was funny
Theo’s opinion – I love dogs and I loved seeing all the dogs in this book. Charlene, the shih-tzu doing jujitsu was funny and so were the dogs swimming in the pool. My dad reads this book to me and it is one of my favourites.
Mum’s thoughts – What a fun book! It was amusing to see so many dogs of all shapes and sizes in really funny disguises from dogs in hats and high heels to a pair of schnauzers in pink trousers.
There was great rhyming throughout the book and such colourful and brilliant illustrations to captivate young readers. We really love reading this book with Theo – thank you.
