Kid’s Book Review: Eddie Albert and the Amazing Animal Gang

Kid’s Book Review: Eddie Albert and the Amazing Animal Gang

About the Book and Author

10-year-old Eddie Albert is a younger, funnier Dr Doolittle in that he can speak to animals, including his pet dog Butch, his hamster and his two goldfish (who claim they were once pirates). But when Eddie is sent to stay with his eccentric aunt in Amsterdam, he discovers that she too has this gift…

So, begins a breathless cosmopolitan comic crime adventure from Paul O’Grady, published by Harper Collins. Eddie, Aunt Budge, his new friend Flo and a whole gang of amazing animals take on the most-dastardly villain Amsterdam has ever seen, in a desperate race against time to save one of their own. Our animal loving young reader says this is her new favourite book because it is funny and about animals. Will it be yours too?

Book Review

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves animals and adventurous funny stories

I loved this book and it is now my new favourite book. I loved the plot and how there were many cliff hangers and some very funny parts. My favourite characters are Dan and Jake because they are very funny.

I also love this book because it’s very adventurous and mysterious and it’s about animals which I love. The animal names are very cute and my favourite animal is the dog Butch.

My favourite chapter was at Vera’s party because of the people that were there and the description of the paintings.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves animals and adventurous funny stories.
