About the Book, Author and Illustrator
Grandads come in all shapes, sizes and guises! And we have lots of different names for them don’t we?
This is a joyous celebration of wonderful grandads and the love they have for their grandchildren. With a bouncy, irresistible rhyming text by Ben Faulks and charming illustrations by Nia Tudor this book is a perfect gift for Father’s Day.
More importantly it is a story to shared by a child with their grandad at any time of year for a special story time. Just as our young reviewer Unaysa enjoys with her grandad. Please scroll down to find out which her favourite grandad is!

Book Review
I like the grandad who can bake the best!
Unaysa says: It was an amazing book! I enjoyed this book very much.
The one (grandad) I like the most is the grandad who can bake! But I like all the grandads in the book.
I’m going to read this book with my grandad because I know he’ll enjoy it and I bet he will want to take it home!
A girl told everyone ‘my grandad doesn’t sail the seven seas or fly’ but he’s a grandad that stays at home with her and loves her. That’s like my grandad, and he reads her stories like my grandad too.
Mum says: The illustrations are beautiful!
Grandads and girls and grandma’s and dads and mums and boys will love this book because it’s a loving story (story about love)!
