Book Review

It is a simple story about a girl and her cat but is written nicely and shows the personality of cats well

Ilaria really enjoyed this book and has asked to read it a few times. It is a simple story about a girl and her cat but is written nicely and shows the personality of cats well.

Ilaria liked finding out about a cat’s life and seeing how the girl and cat’s friendship developed throughout the book.

Ilaria particularly liked the girl eating on the floor next to the cat and the girl and the cat curling and stretching together (we had to do it too!)

The illustrations are lovely bold colours and illustrate the story nicely.

The only part of the book that bothered Ilaria was the page where the cat is hiding – neither she or I could find the cat which bothered her a lot!
