About the Book, Author / Illustrator
Bright, bold and mischievous. This picture book is a good choice for young readers who are itching to be off adventuring…
Why brush your teeth when you could go snorkelling with a crocodile? Or ride a tiger! Or fly with an eagle!
Small Panda doesn’t understand why grown-ups like doing the MOST boring things. Especially when there’s always something more exciting to do.
Join Small Panda as they discover that the ‘exciting’ things in life aren’t always as important as the little ones. And that grown-ups might not be as boring as they seem…

Book Review
it’s a lovely book for reinforcing vocabulary for everyday routines
Zaki loved this story and giggled throughout especially when we used different voices for the Panda and his mum. As he became more familiar with the story, he joined in by saying ‘no, thank you’ and ‘yes, I can’.
The illustrations in the book are beautiful and we spent lots of time talking about what was happening in the pictures. It’s a lovely book for reinforcing vocabulary for everyday routines and there were many things that Zaki could relate to.
I asked Zaki about his favourite part in the book and he turned the page to where the panda was brushing his teeth. The story was just the right length to keep Zaki engaged and listening throughout.
