The large font and short sentences made it a perfect early reader
Evan really enjoyed reading this book to me. The large font and short sentences made it a perfect early reader.
‘The pictures are cool, Granny is funny’ Evan thought that the illustrations were great and he found them very funny.
‘My favourite bit is the party, I want to be there’ Evan enjoyed the section at the party, he loved the descriptions of games and spooky food, he spent ages looking at the illustrations trying to work out how we could recreate the feast.
I liked the use of colourful words, it made it fun to read with Evan and encouraged him to keep reading to get to the next one.
We recommend this book to all ages but particularly early readers.
