Book Review

I love the T-rex and the long neck. I like that they are so so big you have to open up the page!

Mum says: This non-fiction book has become Bobby’s favourite book. We have read it every single night since it arrived. He has always loved dinosaurs but the chance to read about so many types and to see the size and get the key facts and an easy guide on how to say the names has been fabulous.

The layout is clear and attractive with nice colours, boxes and tables and top interesting facts for each. Some non-fiction books can be overwhelming for the age group but this gets it just right.

The ending with all the dinosaurs lined up is a great chance for him to test his knowledge and guess which one is which.

As a parent it is a pleasure to see him so immersed and I’ve been amazed at the names of the dinosaurs that he now knows and recognises.

Bobby “I love the T-rex and the long neck. I like that they are so so big you have to open up the page. I like to see how many teeth they have and what they eat. Some look like birds and some are tiny. I am learning new names and it is my favourite book.”
