About the Book, Author and Illustrator
Join Ommie in an adventure through a magical garden full of animals, in this introduction to yoga for younger children.
Yoga is an ancient practice that develops and maintains health and well-being. It promotes flexibility, coordination and strength as well as teaching relaxation and mental control.
Each beautifully styled page shows little Ommie imitating the pose of an animal which demonstrates the key shape of each yoga pose.
The book is beautifully illustrated in a soothing muted colour palette and is printed with a matt finish of quality paper stock which has an organic feel about it.

Book Review
I liked doing the lion position and shouting ‘Rrrooooaaaar!!!
Mum’s opinion – A lovely colourful yoga story book for children. It combines a story with different animal yoga poses to try with your little ones. It is a fun and interactive book and we enjoyed trying the different animal poses together. A great way to practise animal sounds while doing yoga with your little ones. The illustrations are colourful and eye-catching.
Theo’s opinion – It was fun to do the animal yoga positions with my Mum. I liked doing the lion position and shouting ‘Rrrooooaaaar!!!!
It was difficult doing the tree one and balancing on one leg. I have done Yoga at nursery too and I really enjoyed doing it with my friends.
