About the Book, Author and Illustrator
One Sweet Song is a sort about the power music has to bring people together.
Written by a kindergarten teacher and inspired by the balcony singing in Italy during the pandemic – with a countdown from one to ten and back gently woven in – the gently rhyming text and vibrant artwork harmonise beautifully resulting in an up-lifting, inclusive celebration of community, united by a shared experience.

I liked reading this and counting the music notes on each page. I really like how everyone joined in for the fun and then slowly it was night time and everything went quiet.
The pictures are really nice and I liked looking at them and seeing all the characters.
I would recommend this book to all children who like music and having fun with your neighbours.
