About the Book
This is the fourth book in The Wanderers series of beautifully illustrated nature poems by Dom Conlon and Anastasia Izlesou to be published by Graffeg.
These charming picture books include interesting facts as well as captivating readers with a lyrical tale told through verse. Young children will enjoy looking at the pictures whilst listening to it being read to them and joining in the title phrase that is repeated and acts as a sort of chorus.
This book focuses on the night sky and is particularly appropriate for this winter season.
Travel with Star as her light zips across 93 million miles of space from her home to Earth, where she ripens crops, keeps us warm, creates weather and reveals a waking world full of life.

Book Review
I like that the pictures go from day to night
I like this book because I learned a lot about the sun from it. When you open your eyes in the morning, you see the sun ‘shine star shine’. It tells us the sun gives us the seasons and it can burn you.
The pictures are very nice because they are like real water, tree and animals. I like that the pictures go from day to night.
Mum’s thoughts: This book imparts much knowledge about our beautiful sun, and so much more too, in a lovely poetic manner.
I am amazed by how much detail the author has managed to convey in the short paragraphs of script. A great mix of poetry, science and nature.
