About the Book and Author

From bestselling author and musician Tom Fletcher is a story about a band.

George, Neila and Bash are the worst band on Earth. George wants them to be brilliant – but Neila has stage fright, and Bash is too distracted by his obsession with stars, aliens and faraway planets. But what they lack in talent and confidence, they make up for in heart.

Book Review

A funny and heart-warming story which represents peace and shows that everyone is welcome on earth, we are one big community who help each other, human or not.

Neilia, George and Bash are quite literally the worst band in the world, even their parents hate their music. It seems so ear splittingly awful that I didn’t even dare to imagine it!

They are excited to participate in the battle of the bands, but, when the day approaches, they are sucked into space. To get back to earth, they must first defeat all other bands in the UNIVERSAL battle of the bands. Stakes are high because if they don’t win, earth will be eclipsed and destroyed forever. Can they stop mighty megavolt in the Gravity Gamble and save the earth?

While George hates school and Bash is a space enthusiast, Neilia was my favourite character because she is so clever like me.

I would recommend this imaginative book to anyone who needs a bit of rock in their life or are space fanatics.

A funny and heart-warming story which represents peace and shows that everyone is welcome on earth, we are one big community who help each other, human or not.
