Book Review
I think it would be a nice present for someone
I have been reading the book “Spies” by David Long. It is a beautiful book to look at and I think it would be a nice present for someone.
I think this because it’s a very informative book and for some people it will be very interesting. I think the illustrations are bright and colourful and that they will inform you about the book as well as the words. The front cover is made up of some of the illustrations from inside the book and this really helps you think about what it’s going to be about.
I think this book will inform you about World War II and other times in history. It was really interesting to read and taught me lots of things about lots of brave spies. I enjoyed reading about Roald Dahl the most. He is one of my favourite authors but I had no idea he was a spy when he was younger and it was fascinating to read about his life before he started writing children’s books about friendly giants and magical chocolate factories.
I like the layout of the book, it makes it way easier to read. The pages are big and spaced out with not too many words on one page. I will give this book a 8 out of 10. It’s really good and I think lots of people will like it.
