Book Review

Now that I have finished this book, I am not just going to leave it on the shelf but will keep reading it over and over again

As soon as I got this book, my eyes were drawn to the front cover because of the bright colours of the beautiful illustrations. When I read the title, I wasn’t actually sure what the book was about so I wanted to read it to find out.

Then, I started reading and couldn’t stop even when my mum was calling me for dinner! My favourite part was when Charlie and Sandra May became friends and went on bike rides together. My least favourite part was when Stevie and his Dad left Limbradon because it felt like I was leaving Manchester (where I live). I like Stevie’s character because she is troublesome like me, but I can’t believe that she made her Dad lose his job because of her mischief. I didn’t like Bert’s character because he is so lazy and boring.

I would recommend this book for children because it has so many funny bits. I hope Mary Murphy is going to write more stories because I will look out for them in the library.

Now that I have finished this book, I am not just going to leave it on the shelf but will keep reading it over and over again.
