Book Review

I love the puzzle page at the end!

We did read the book but I think at the time (when she was just 4 years ) it felt a little bit too old for her. The book has more factual content and Freida is more drawn to a story to keep her interested.

We picked this book back up last week to read again to write our missed review and I found that Freida, now nearly 5 years old, showed more interest in the book, she seemed to learn facts from the book through rhyme and it prompted her to ask questions about reptiles!

We loved the illustrations and the use of bold colours throughout and she extremely loved the puzzle page at the end.

We also read the last page which described both Nicola Davies and Abbie Cameron in detail- it was nice to have some extra detail about the author and illustrator and their additional rhyming book series 😊

I would recommend the book, however, I would aim the book for those of ages 5+.
