About the Book and Poet
In her lyrical and heartfelt second poetry collection, Sophia Thakur takes us on an emotionally charged journey through the past lives of women and considers what it means to be a woman in today’s society.
Encompassing love, from first crush to break-up, the history that comes before us, and the brave moments that make us, this collection will resonate with all young women as they approach the joys and pain of adulthood and learn to navigate life.
We recommend it for readers aged 14 years+

I found some of the poems very moving and I especially enjoyed “City of Stolen Souls”.
If I’m being honest, there were many poems that I didn’t really understand the meaning of, however, I still enjoyed the rhythmic and beautifully crafted words put into them.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this book, especially as it was something different. I wouldn’t usually read poetry.
