The money Theo makes is barely enough to pay for lessons, so when Emmanuel turns up with talk of buried treasure, Theo sees a chance to get out of Trashland.
But Emmanuel’s presence draws the attention of a local gang, and Theo starts to wonder if his new friend is keeping dangerous secrets …

Book Review

This story is a thrilling mystery with an unexpected twist

This book is about a dumping ground in Africa, and two friends that try to find treasure. The two friends are called Theo and Emanuel, but we don’t really understand why Emanuel is so secretive with Theo until later in the story.

This story is a thrilling mystery with an unexpected twist involving Emanuel and a truck. This book has been set apart form other stories by having fictional characters, but a non-fiction setting.

This setting is an important lesson for us all in how we can change the world and protect the environment before we all end up living in Trash Land.
