Book Review

this book is a good choice for any enjoyers of teen romance

I have been looking for the chance to read another book by Marissa Meyer since my review of ‘Gilded’, and ‘With a Little Luck’ did not disappoint.

The main character is a teenager called Jude, who helps his parents run their vinyl record shop and enjoys playing D&D with his friends. He has spent most of his life trying to go unnoticed, until he is gifted with supernatural good luck and his quiet life is turned upside down.

With his new luck, Jude wins a pair of concert tickets which he uses to ask out Maya, a girl he has liked for years. But his good fortune can’t last forever, so how will things work out when Jude’s luck begins to take a turn for the worst?

The story is so well written, with believable characters and a brilliant plot. This book is a good choice for any enjoyers of teen romance, and fans are sure to enjoy the various Star Wars and Star Trek references.

I have greatly enjoyed ‘With a Little Luck’, and it really is a must-read for any Marissa Meyer fan.
