Kid’s Book Review: Yes You Can, Cow!

Kid’s Book Review: Yes You Can, Cow!

About the Book and Author

This bold picture book is a heartwarming story about believing in yourself and doing your best based on the familiar nursery rhyme ‘Hey Diddle Diddle’

It’s the Nursery Rhyme’s big performance, but Cow is having second thoughts. She’s too scared to jump! What if she crashes? Will everyone laugh?
The curtain’s almost up and the audience are waiting. Can Cow overcome her fear of failure and become the star of the show?

Book Review

We started reading the book and I was so happy because I could read the words

When I first saw this book I was very excited at the cover. I liked it because it looked like the animals were going to do a show and my favourite animal was the dog with the bow tie. He looked so happy.

We started reading the book and I was so happy because I could read the words and I realised that it was the nursery rhyme ‘Hey Diddle diddle…’

The book was very funny because the moon kept getting ready to do something and the cow would be missing because she was so nervous and didn’t think she could do it.

The illustrations are so good and so colourful. I love animals and these animals are all really kind. The message in the book is to keep trying and not give up.

I thought the cow was very brave to keep trying.
